What’s New
We have transitioned to a continuous delivery model to bring you new features faster and more frequently. This section highlights the most significant updates released each quarter for NEXUS applications. For a complete list of all changes, including minor enhancements and bug fixes, see Change Log.
Note
The updates listed here are available immediately for Software as a Service (SaaS) clients.
If you are using NEXUS on-premises, these changes will be included in the next scheduled software release. For information about what was new in the latest 6.9 release, see What’s New in 6.9.
Feature Highlights
Q4 2025 (October - December)
NEXUS IC
Video parsing is now executed as a background job, allowing users to monitor progress and status via the blue ribbon above the Status Bar or through the Job Management Console. See Parse Videos.
From the Customise toolbar in grids, you can use the new Asset Format option to choose whether assets in the Assets column appear with their names, full location or both. See Customise.
IC-Inspector
You can now use your company credentials to log in to IC-Inspector using Single Sign-On (SSO). See Log In to IC-Inspector.
Q3 2025 (July - September)
NEXUS IC
Unit conversion is now available in grids. See Unit Conversion.
The new Source field is available in the Edit Multimedia dialog. See Add/Edit Multimedia Dialog.
IC-Inspector
A new Status view is now available at the bottom of all screens that display task lists, such as Summary, Tasks and Drawings. This feature allows you to group tasks by their current status, such as In Progress, Completed or Failed to Sync (see Grouping of Tasks).
On the Settings screen, under APP INFO, you can click About for the following options:

Q2 2025 (April - June)
NEXUS IC
For shortcut configuration, the new On New Row value is available for the Input Row option of the Inputs shortcut element. See Shortcut Elements.
The new Show Statistics button is available when configuring functions. See Configure Functions.
IC-Inspector
On the Settings screen, under SYNC, the new Send Sync Log to Support option is available, which allows you to send a sync log to NEXUS Support in case of issues during synchronisation.
