Tasks
Tasks represent individual units of work to be performed. While tasks are often inspection-related, they are not limited to inspections. Each task is typically associated with an asset and an event type that defines the nature of the work. For example, if a task involves performing a General Visual Inspection on an asset, you would assign the event type GVI.
Tasks are organised into workpacks, which group related work for planning, execution and tracking.
Managing Tasks
In NEXUS IC, you can manage tasks on the Tasks tab, which is available on the PLANNING and WORKPACK screens. This tab provides a toolbar that allows you to perform common task-related actions, as described below.

Note
The Tasks tab is also available when editing tasks from certain dashboards and when editing anomaly actions that are associated with tasks. In these contexts, the toolbar buttons provide the same functionality as described above.
Completing Tasks
A task is completed when the associated work has been carried out. To record the completion of a task in NEXUS, you must mark it as completed. For more information, see Complete Tasks.
Report Table Sources
To extract task data into a report template, use the System Table titled Task as the primary Table Source. For more information see Configure Report Templates.
