Anomalies

The Anomalies tab on the ASSETS screen allows you to review and manage anomaly records that are associated with the currently selected asset in the asset tree.

By default, the tab shows anomalies that belong directly to the selected asset. If the Filter ‣ Child Assets toolbar option is enabled, anomalies linked to the selected asset and its child assets are also included.

The visibility of the Anomalies tab itself can be toggled on or off under the View option in the main toolbar of the ASSETS screen.

The functionality available on the Anomalies tab is largely the same as on the ANOMALIES screen (see ANOMALIES Screen). However, some toolbar options differ slightly. For details, see Anomalies Toolbar.

Note

On the Anomalies tab, only the anomaly grid is displayed. The Actions, Findings and Library tabs that appear at the bottom of the ANOMALIES screen are not available here.

However, when you create or edit an anomaly from the Anomalies tab, these related records are available within the Add/Edit Anomaly dialog, allowing you to manage associated actions, findings and library items as required.

Anomalies Toolbar

Toolbar Option	Description
Add	Creates a new anomaly. See Create Anomalies and Add/Edit Anomaly Dialog.
Edit	Updates the selected anomaly record. See Add/Edit Anomaly Dialog. You can also bulk update anomalies using the standard grid functions (see Multi-Edit).
Delete	Deletes the selected anomaly records from the database. You can also bulk delete records using the standard grid functions (see Multi-Edit).
Filter ‣ Child Assets	Toggles the inclusion of anomalies associated with child assets of the selected asset.
Filter ‣ Show Closed	Toggles the visibility of closed anomalies in the grid. By default, closed anomalies are hidden.
View ‣ Risk Chart	Toggles the visibility of the Risk Chart pane on the right-hand side of the tab. The pane shows the Anomalies Risk Matrix (see Risk Chart).
View ‣ Show Count	If the Risk Chart pane is visible, it toggles the visibility of the anomaly count values shown on the Anomalies Risk Matrix.
View ‣ Multimedia	Toggles the visibility of the Multimedia pane on the right-hand side of the tab.
Connections	Displays items that are linked to the selected anomaly. See Connections.
Import	Imports anomaly data into the database. See Import.
Export	Exports anomaly data from the active grid. See Export.
Customise	Customises the grid layout and columns. See Customise.
Shortcuts ‣ Close Anomaly	Closes the selected anomaly. See Close Anomalies.
