Third-party DVRs
IC-Inspection can be used to remote control digital video recorders during online inspection (see Add a Third-Party DVR Device), enabling operators to manage video recording as part of the inspection workflow.

To enable IC-Inspection to remote control your DVR, you can choose one of the following options:
Custom DVR Protocol
We can build a custom protocol to work with your existing application.
Development is performed on a rates basis according to your specification.
A DVR system must be provided for testing.
Future updates are undertaken on your instruction.
A quotation can be provided on review of your specification.
Generic DVR Protocol
Alternatively, you can implement our standard DVR protocol for NEXUS.

Third-party DVR Configuration
To enable remote control of a third-party DVR from IC-Inspection, the device must be configured to use the appropriate DVR protocol.
Configuring VisualDVR
To configure a VisualDVR to accept commands via the protocol, perform the following steps:
Left-click on the main video preview.
In the dialog that appears, select .
Tick Enable NEXUS IC DVR control.
