Launch Tasks

When you launch a task, the Event Details screen opens where you can record data against the task (see Maintain Event Details).

You can launch a task in several ways in IC-Inspector:

• From the Tasks screen: Tap the task in the task list.

• From the Drawing details screen: Tap the task in the task list that opens when you click a layer.

• From the Summary screen: Tap the task in the task list that opens when you click the centre of a donut.

Note

If you tap an ad hoc task, besides being able to enter data on the Event Details screen, a new ad hoc event item is created under the task list. Even after completing an ad hoc event, the original ad hoc task remains in your task list for future use.
