Asset Attribute Connector

Overview

The Asset Attribute Connector simplifies the process of mapping data from Asset Information Groups (AIGs) and sub-AIGs into NEXUS. It simplifies the external payload required to push attribute data into NEXUS, making integration more efficient.

Functionality

Once a unique identifier is established for the external source, the connector can receive a JSON payload containing asset attributes and map them to specific fields within NEXUS.

The core connector service enhances this process by handling:

• Unit conversions

• Lookup list mappings

• Sub-AIG change management

This approach simplifies and enhances connection over the direct NEXUS REST route.
