Add/Edit Traffic Light Dialog
The Add Traffic Light and Edit Traffic Light dialogs allow you to configure the fields of a traffic lighting rule.
The fields in the dialog are described below.
Field Name |

Name |
Enter a name that uniquely identifies the traffic lighting rule. |
Description |
Describe the main purpose of the traffic lighting rule. This text is also displayed directly under the rule’s menu option in the Traffic Lighting toolbar menu. |
Category |
Assign a category to place the rule inside the corresponding submenu of the Traffic Lighting toolbar. Categories are managed as described in Configure Traffic Light Categories. |
Value Field |
Select the field that provides the value used to determine the traffic light colour. |
Colour Field |
Specify the field in the asset’s Asset Information Group (AIG) that calculates the traffic light colour. If you select a colour field from the AIG, the calculated value of this field is used directly to determine the traffic light colour and you do not need to set up overlay values. If you leave this field empty, you must define overlay values to determine the colour mapping. |
Hint Field |
Specify the text that you want to appear when the user hovers over the traffic light in the asset tree. If you leave this field empty, the hint text will be the value of the Value Field. |
