Connections

The Connections toolbar button shows items that are linked to the active record.

Note

The Connections toolbar only shows items that depend on this item — it does not show the reverse. For example, if you are looking at Connections for an event, it will show Multimedia, Findings, etc, but it will not show the Asset that this event is on, because the event is connected to the asset, not the asset to the event.

Hint

If you were considering deleting an asset (or assets) from the asset hierarchy, we would recommend first checking what data might be linked to that asset. To do this, from the ASSETS screen, right click on any asset and choose Connections from the pop-up menu. The Connections dialog will appear categorising and listing all data elements which have a reference or connection to the selected asset.
